• Led the industry with the largest global pipeline by rooms, per STR – with nearly 170,000 rooms in the pipeline, the largest in company history.
• Reinvented the dining model at the company’s full service brands, Hilton Hotels & Resorts, DoubleTree by Hilton and Embassy Suites, and will introduce three new casual concepts – Herb n' Kitchen, Made Market, and Brickstones Grill – in early 2013.
• Celebrated our first annual Global Week of Service, during which Team Members at more than 600 properties and offices around the globe completed more than 800 volunteer projects in over 400 cities.
• Launched a new mattress recycling program in the U.S. to recycle approximately 85 percent of our hotels’ mattresses and box springs into various products rather than divert them to a landfill.
